For years, our guests knew this place as Hollywood House. But as we’ve taken over, we realised the house deserved a new story – one that’s closer to its roots, closer to nature, and closer to what makes Derbyshire so special.

The “glitz and glamour” of Hollywood has given way to something more grounded: a warm, nature-inspired retreat where groups can gather, relax, and celebrate against the backdrop of Derbyshire’s rolling hills. Indeed Holly House isn’t just a place to stay – it’s a return to our values. Inspired by the holly trees that frame the grounds, the house celebrates the landscape around it. Local stone, natural textures, and countryside colours bring the outdoors in, while the panoramic views remind you that you’re at the very heart of the Peak District.
Corporate Retreats Reimagined
Swap fluorescent lights and hotel boardrooms for big skies and countryside calm. Holly House offers flexible spaces for strategy sessions, workshops, and residential retreats, with high-speed WiFi, large communal rooms, and plenty of breakout corners indoors and out. After the work is done, teams can connect over shared meals, walks in the Derbyshire hills, or a film in the private cinema room — creating an away-day that’s both productive and memorable.
